Our founder, Dr. Nikola Cihoric, with an interdisciplinary team from Insel Gruppe, Kantonsspital St.Gallen, and international collaborators, published a new paper: A CDE-based data structure for radiotherapeutic decision-making in breast cancer.
It covers 46 data points across 31 criteria, capturing 70% of ASTRO guidelines.
To support interoperability, the data model was designed to be both machine-readable and easy to implement across systems, ensuring that critical clinical information can be shared and applied consistently in real-world settings.
This research marks a key step toward clinical decision support that’s usable: practical, AI-ready, and grounded in how care happens in real life.
Proud to see Wemedoo at the heart of it.
